12/8/21--INT/EXT. NIGHTCLUB

    Welcome to FLORIDA MAN--SEASON 1---Shooting WEDNESDAY, DEC. 8TH!!  If you are new with FLORIDA MAN, this blog is where you will find out important information on what kind of costumes you should bring as a Background Actor on the show. 

Just a couple of housekeeping items to begin with......

-Please, be on time.  You will be checked in by the AD Department and fill out paperwork before we can look at you.  If you are late then the Costume Department does not get as much time to make sure you look great.  

-Always come dressed in your first, best choice of the descriptions for your character.   After reading the character descriptions that you will find here, make your best pick and wear it in.  However, you will ALWAYS be expected to bring multiple options with you so that we can make the final choices.  The final choices will be made by the Costume Dept.  Please respect that we have the overview of the day and the show, and do not complain about what we ask you to wear. Solid colors, wide stripes, plaids, and large scale prints are great! Some color is good, as long as it isn't super bright or neon. Please do not include items with narrow stripes, busy patterns, neons, glitter, sequins, expensive or special jewelry, uncomfortable shoes, and clothing with large logos & graphics/ trademarked characters (giant nike symbols, star wars tees, etc). On this particular show, simple logos are okay as long as it is mainly wording/ lettering/ phrases (not large pieces of artwork).

- It is MANDATORY that you read this blog before coming to work EVERY TIME YOU WORK.

PHILLY:

***PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU BRING CHANGES.... YOU WILL BE USED IN DIFFERENT PLACES SO YOU WILL NEED DIFFERENT LOOKS!!!***

BARTENDERS/SERVERS:

black pants, black blouses, black dress, black skirt, black button front shirts, black polos. Nice dark shoes that are easy to walk in. NO stilettos please. 

BOUNCER:

Black suits, black t-shirts (V-neck or Crew), black dress shirt, black shoes and black belt.

CLUB GOERS/DJ:

Nice PHILADELPHIA NIGHTCLUB.  Colors and vibe should be synonymous with a night out in a metropolitan city.  Sleek, hip deeper colors such as black, silver, copper and deep jewel tones...Some sparkle is fine.   Sexy dresses, jumpsuits, skirts and tops.  Collared shirts, dark jeans, slacks, sweaters, cool funky casual coats. Make it fun, stylish and hip... you are spending a night at the club in the big city!!
